Be With Me II
Kevin's post inspired me to watch Be With Me. I mean...it's not very often that we see our Number 6 'reviewing' a film. In fact, this has to be the first time on our blog. So I reckon that there has to be something magical abt Be With Me that brought us a much-awaited new post on our blog.I watched the film with Yeejia n came out of the theatre feeling slightly melachony. Be With Me triumphs in the fact that it was deliberately paced slowly, so that it allows its audience to reflect on our lives as the story unravels. It's somewhat similar to films like Before Sunrise and Crash...you don't get the feel-good feeling after watching them, but you feel human. Or more precisely, you feel the want to be more human.
Anyway, my favourite characters are the old man and the fat man. If you haven't watched it yet, make time for it. It can't be lousy if two brothers say it's good=)
