holiday lobang for all of you

Hey after some thots, i realise what shaopeng say is true. I have amazing luck! Maybe not in gambling but in many other aspect. By now most of you would have known i won an ipod out of the blue, yes i sold it... But thats beside the point. I realised that singaporeans dun really like to enter contest. Therefore this holiday i going to aim to send in at least 20 entries to contest and put my hypothesis to test. Therefore if u all have existing magazines with contest, pls help me cut and pass it to me. Hope to win it all...

Bon Voyage pour Moi

Alrite guys...i'll be lifted off Singapore's land in 7 more hours time...gonna keep this short coz i need the precious sleep.

Anyway, thks Brother Kevin and Brother Giap. I won't be able to contribute to this blog for the next 3 wks but hopefully, when i'm back, there'll be a lot of stuff left here for me to read=) And giap, no need to be sad that u miss the ktv session...we can have many more when i'm back...even though i mus admit today's ktv session was pretty shiok with zhou hua jian's xing de fang xiang and wang li xing's mang mang mang. Good songs that I believe will make it to our must-sing songs list, which currently include high high high and dou1 gen1 ni shuo le fang4 shou3.

Take care dudes. i believe i've have a lot more games of bartog (and yes, it's bartog...not bartop) over in Yunnan, so by the time i'm back, i should have more interesting rules to introduce such as 'give it to me baby'! hahaha....

and ya...hope u having fun in Thailand, tonnerton!

PTW Photos

First let me sympathise with Giap. Dun be sad Giap. Glad u can see how good ur brothers are. And this blog has been so good so far.

Anyway i decided to make the current photos site ptw.fotopic.net PTWed. So u guys got ANY photos to share, can go www.fotopic.net and login as theptws@gmail.com, password is same as KH's initial one for this blog - the day, simply. If u pple got any use for the gmail account, also feel free to use it. Same password.

That's all for now. Have a good holiday, and one road smooth wind to our Cai di. Hope ton's enjoying himself over there too.

The Art of Pang seh

Being with ptw has clearly help me with lots of situations in my life. For one , it has helped me coped well with the art of pang seh. Pang seh as u all know, ranges from not being punctual to absolutely never come. This week, I have experience different form of pang seh from the same person which include being late, make me wait and never come, promise to take my vcd from this particular spot but never turn up again, reply a yes/no msg after 3 hours. To me it has been an ultimate pang seh week. Therefore i would like to thank the ptws, for helping me cope with all these with our previous experience.

Anyway any super part time job pls jio me! Feeling so broke that i can't even make it for chye's ktv session. Sorry chye but i have not much money for the rest of this month which is like 2 freaking weeks. Next week probably be staying in hall, due to obvious reason. Anyway lets use this blog more often man. Don't make it another giap's successful chatterbox . Anyway i had already started teaching ppl the bartop game. Thanks chye for the wonderful game and have a great time in yunnam. Bring back the formula for hair growth and we can quit sch!

Starting here now. Start.

It appears that for the past few days, nobody has posted anything on our blog. When I talk about body(pronounced birdy), of coz da bians are not included, jus like batteries are never included in Martel toys. The Da Bian was pretty disappointed abt this so I promised The Da Bian that I'll post something on this blog by today. Which is how this post was in the first place, conceived.

Anyway, still remember the life defining decision that I casually mentioned on our tag board during exam? I intended to tell all of you when all of us meet up but in the end, I succumbed to my inability of witholding secrets. I admit I've never been very good at witholding HARMLESS secrets, a weakness shared by all wu ming haners. Thus, I have since told jiahao and yeoman abt the decision and also ton and giap after chinablacking last wednesday.

So for the rest still out of the loop, here's what I wanted to tell you. I'll be going on an immersion to France this holiday for 3 wks. Ok..I hear a lot of cheys resonating in front of the computer...haha...but it's really quite an important decision cos the immersion is actually a part of a French Double Degree prog that I've signed up for...and it requires me to study in france for 2 yrs (yr 3 and 4), which was why I said it would be life defining. You know the vietnamese in Singapore, that's wat I'll be in France if i go for the prog. Everything's gonna be so french. And there were actually more implications involved with regards to the prog, which made it really difficult for me to arrive at a decision. However, I have since submitted my letter of acceptance to the prog, and I'm not going to think if i had made the right decision anymore....chuan dao qiao tou zhi ran zhi...french dao zhui ba zhi ran french.

Anyway, the previous semester had given me some insights into how to be a good fren. The question first propped up when siew peng and I were taking bus 30 to harbour front mrt station on our way to visit giap at SGH more than 1 mth back. We talked abt something along the line of a fren in need is a fren indeed...siew peng provinding the crux of the conversation. Recent personal experiences have brought even more light into the notion of frens for me. When i was in j1, i strived to be a hao ren, whatever a hao ren is defined to be. Then after entering uni, i steared towards the dark side...wat with the dyed hair, the stud and the rather bo chup attitude towards gers and maybe frens too. But for now, the kind of person i want to be has changed again. For now, until i achieve it...i want to be a HAO (de) PENG YOU! (Rapturous applause pls..haha...) Basically, it's not that hard to be a hao peng you. There's just one rule that u need to follow and it's something similar to kong zi's ji shuo bu yu, wu shi yu ren. Taking it to a higher level, chye zi says, 'ji shuo yu, shi duo duo yu duo duo ren'.

Anyway, if u subscribe to straits times right, go chk out colin goh's write up on rgs' infamous low growls at cheering sessions. That article contains some subtle insights into what constitutes a zhen1 zhen4 de nan ren.

K, ending off here now. End.
