Alright dude, the only RER coming to Rambouillet is from Gare de Montparnasse. It's somewhere in central paris, which you should have no problem looking for on the map.
I'm having lesson till 4 each day. But let me know what time you'll be arriving at the Rambouillet station...I can skip lesson to go pick you and your friend up. The ticket from Montparnasse to Rambouillet should cost you about $6.20...but you might consider buying 10 at one shot. It'll be cheaper. It's $5.30. You do the math=)
As for Mr Anonymous, my university is not confirmed yet. Anyway, the university I'm going to is not on offer for SEP i think....but choose france man, then we can tour europe or africa together. If you need more information on the education in france just let me know. Else i can fill you in when we meet at Shi Tong Tian on 2 Jan.
