The Fox and The Rooster

Once, a fox sneaked into a farm and grabbed a prized rooster.

The farmer saw him and raised the alarm to his dogs, and they started chasing the thief. The fox, though he was holding the rooster in his mouth, was running very fast. "Get him! Get him!" shouted the farmer to his dogs.

"No!" screamed the rooster suddenly. "Don't come near me!"

"My master was very cruel to me," explained the rooster to the fox. "Tell him to stay away from me."

The fox was delighted. "He wants you to stay away from him!" the fox shouted at the farmer, in the process releasing his hold on the rooster.

The rooster flew up into a tree and stayed there till he was rescued by his master.

Think twice before you open your mouth to speak.

Local Production - 'Before Sunset' style

Brothers, I found this on caleb's website.

http://homepage.mac.com/ywchai/iMovieTheater31.html

It's a local production...mainly dialogue. In particular, I would strongly recommend this to Giap, coz you're their inspiration. So, put your notes aside, this short film is worth your 5mins=)

The Finish Line

This is a true story. A few years ago, at the Seattle Special Olympics, there were nine contestants, all physically or mentally disabled, assembled at the starting line for the 100-yard dash.

At the sound of the gun, they all started out, not exactly in a dash, but with a relish to run the race to the finish and win. All, that is, except one little boy who stumbled on the asphalt, tumbled over a couple of times, and began to cry.

The other eight heard the boy cry. They slowed down and looked back. Then they all turned around and went back-every one of them.

One girl with Down's Syndrome bent down and kissed him and said, "This will make it better." Then all nine linked arms and walked together to the finish line.

Everyone in the stadium stood, and the cheering went on for several minutes. People who were there are still telling the story. Because deep down we know one thing. What matters in this life is more than winning for ourselves.

What matters in this life is helping others win, even if it means slowing down and changing our course.

The Secret of Giving Good Advice

A mother brought his child to see Gandhi. She told Gandhi, 'Gandhi, my child doesn't listen to me. He keeps eating sweets and his teeth all bo geh already. Can you help me tell him to stop eating sweets...mother no money...pls? My child only listens to you.'

Gandhi refused. He told her to come and look for him in one months' time. The mother was furious. She did not understand why Gandhi can't spare a few moments just to tell her child not to eat sweets.

Nonetheless, mother and child returned and see Gandhi after one month. Gandhi told the child, ' Son, don't eat sweet in future. I don't think you want to be bo geh like me right?' The child, upon seeing the bo gehed Gandhi, never eat sweets anymore.

The great Gandhi had took the one month to gooble as much sweets as he can so he'll go bo geh and be a good negative example for the child.

The moral of the story is....real life negative example provides better advices than mere words.
